Bozeman, Montana, is gearing up for the 4th of July:
Comments made during a packed Bozeman City Commission meeting have prompted city officials to allow Fourth of July Tea Party attendees to march down Main Street.
A portion of Main Street from Wallace Street to the courthouse will be closed from 10 a.m. until noon while activists march against big government on Independence Day, according to Bozeman assistant city manager Chuck Winn.
They’re expecting 1,000 to come.
Georgia Tea Partyers are organizing up a storm:
Event organizer Cindy Fallon and others last month formed the non-profit Peachtree City Tea Party Patriots that last week had a mailing list that included nearly 1,300 names. The group will hold their next event July 4 at the Fredrick Brown Amphitheater.
Greenwood, SC, is having a get-together June 27:
The T.E.A Party / Freedom Rally, is scheduled for June 27 and is slated to begin at 5:00PM.
Organizers say they hope to send a message to elected officials urging them to abandon “wreck less spending, excessive taxation and socialism.” AM Radio Talk Show host, Dr. Tony Beam, will serve as guest speaker for the event.

POTH — When is history fun? When it’s part of the Wilson County TEA Party on Sunday, June 14.
The TEA Party will begin in the Poth City Park at 3 p.m. Events to entertain children — whether in age or attitude — include face painting and balloon animals, a paper airplane contest, an airplane flyover, and visits by “George Washington” and “Betsy Ross.”
