Several hundred people showed up at a protest in Charlotte, North Carolina, Saturday.   There’s another one planned for April 15.

Lots of people at the Santa Barbara, California, rally, also last Saturday.

Between 500 and 1,000 came to a protest in Montana at the Flathead Tea Party.

There are at least two tea parties set to take place in Billings on April 15th, with more than 300 scheduled nationwide. Tea parties have been scheduled for Missoula, Stevensville and Polson as well.

The Billing rally will begin at Noon on the Yellowstone County Courthouse lawn and then move to the main Post Office, and will run from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Naples, Florida, had a get-together Sunday evening.

About 400 people from all over Collier County gathered Sunday evening to put government officials on notice: they are frustrated with government bailouts, excessive national debt and perceived efforts to socialize services and businesses under the federal government.

“It all boils down to individual liberty,” said Marjorie Zimmerman, 73, an organizer of Sunday’s event.

Hundreds participated in an event in Quincy, Illinois.

Quincyans Steve McQueen and Terri Cary organized the Tax Day Tea Party to protest wasteful spending of U.S. tax dollars. They hope a proclamation signed during the party will spread the word along with plans under way to take the rally to the state capitol.

Glen Beck will be speaking at the San Antonio, Texas, tea party.

Glenn Beck will be on hand for the San Antonio Tax Day Tea Party in front of the Alamo on April 15. Beck is tentatively slated as a main speaker for the tea party which is scheduled to start at 6PM.
