Our local media is getting it.  More tea will flow, county tax opponents say

Taxpayers outraged over the federal government’s spending have organized a second tea party, this time on Saturday.

…On Saturday, the same group that participated April 15 will continue its opposition.

Since that event, local interest in the movement has grown, said Faith Jones, founder of the Northwest Indiana Patriots.

“We are concerned citizens who are shouting out, ‘We want our country back,’ ” she said.

The Northwest Indiana Patriots is not political, she said. The focus is on government spending.
